A cabinet from old papers

Hi!In this post I am sending the photos of a cabinet that I made from old papers. Those papers are old documents from my great grand father.Invoices, bussiness letters, tags and so on.I have got them from my uncle a few weeks ago and feel very lucky to have such a precious heritage. My GGF was an important silk producer and merchant in 1930-1960 years. Our family is still proud of his success stories. Now that I have a great amount of his memory pieces,I used them to make a family memory cabinet.

As you see in the photos,I put old boxes, keys, bottles, some lace pieces, pencils etc. İn and on the cabinet. There is an old door knob on the right door.On the floor there is a photo of my father when he was a little child.

Some of papers are written by Arabic letters. That's because in those years they were using Arabic alphabeth.

I hope you like that "80 years old" cabinet. Thanks for visiting.
